Go to the Wavmate signup page and enter your email address and a password. You must be at least 16 years old. Once signed up you can complete your profile with a username, photo, and bio.

No. Private messages are end-to-end encrypted. Only you and the recipient can read them. Even our team cannot access message content.

Go to the person's profile, tap the ··· menu, and select Block. They won't be able to see your profile or message you. They won't be notified.

Wavmate estimates your approximate location from your IP address for the nearby feed. You can disable location tracking in Settings → Location.

Tap the ··· menu on any post, comment, or profile and select Report. Every report is reviewed by our moderation team.

We collect your account info, content you post, interactions, location data, and usage patterns. We don't sell your data and don't run ads. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Your feed is personalised based on who you follow and how you interact with content. Posts you spend more time on, like, or comment on appear more. Posts you scroll past quickly appear less.

The Nearby Feed shows posts from people in your area, based on your approximate location. You can disable it in Settings → Location.

Moods let you attach a feeling or emotion to your post — like happy, focused, or excited. Add a mood when creating a post.

Go to the Messages tab and start a new conversation, or visit someone's profile and tap the message button. Messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Visit their profile and tap Follow. If their account is public you'll follow instantly. If private, they'll receive a follow request to approve.

Posts are removed when they violate our Community Guidelines. If you believe your post was removed in error, email [email protected] with subject "Moderation Appeal".

Accounts are suspended for repeated or serious violations of our Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines. To appeal, email [email protected] with your username.

Email [email protected] with subject "Moderation Appeal". Include your username and why you believe the action was in error. We review all appeals within 7 business days.

Be real, be kind, be responsible. The full rules are in our Community Guidelines. Key rules: no harassment, no hate speech, no explicit content, no fake accounts, no spam.

You can upload images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF) and videos to posts and messages. Very large files may need to be compressed before uploading.

Wavmate has rate limits to protect against spam and abuse. Wait a few minutes and try again. If it persists, contact [email protected].

Report it to [email protected] — do not post it publicly. We respond within 48 hours and will never take action against good-faith security researchers.
